Partnerships – KeyBank

Jul 2nd, 2018 • Partners, RecycleForce News, Recycling, Uncategorized

We hear the word “partnerships” so often in the nonprofit world that one can begin to forget just how important a lasting and equally beneficial relationship is between organizations. RecycleForce would not be a successful social enterprise if it were not for our friends, supporters and partners.

We are eternally grateful for our friends at Brookside Church, Rotary International, and the wide range of environmental and humanitarian organizations that through their services, ideas, and leadership help RecycleForce fulfill our mission to reclaim our environment and better the lives of those reentering society.

We are also excited to have KeyBank as a partner. One doesn’t usually consider it, but a bank can be an important strategic partner. We typically think of banks as the protector of our money, where we pay our bills, and deposit our checks but financial institutions are also vital to the fiscal management and longterm financial planning of corporations and nonprofit organizations alike. Thanks to the financial support and money-management guidance of the folks at KeyBank, RecycleForce is able to secure the funds we need to execute our plans for growth and expansion.
“Creating a stronger workforce is critical to the health of a community. Seeing not only how Recycle Force operates, but why they do this, it left no question that we needed to support this cause” said Juan Gonzalez, KeyBank Central Indiana Market President. “The success Recycle Force has shown in reforming lives is astounding. Giving people a path to a brighter future embodies KeyBank’s own ideals to help our communities thrive.”

Thanks to the guidance and longtime support of Yvonne Harrington Vice President at KeyBank and its Community Development and Investment services, we were able to put our E-Waste shredder, the B.E.A.S.T, back online. Also, we received a $85,000 grant from the KeyBank Foundation!

We are very fortunate to be surrounded by organizations and businesses that are dedicated and care about our work. Their talents, positive energy and financial support are appreciated and necessary to our success.

Thank you for your continued support.
